Well I'm happy to say I'm back I will be updating our site in the next few days and doing some clean up also. We sold a few horses and have a few more to go. And it's the start of a new riding season. See you soon. Happy trails
Well here is a quick update form the Wiley Ranch. We have had a bussy summer running form Jr Rodeo to Jr Rodeo. We have one more to go to then we will be finished till next spring. So far Jordanna got 3rd all around in the CTJRA and 1st place in Cow riding in the CTJRA. She also is sitting 4th all around in the EWJRA and 1st in the cow riding. We are really proud of her achevements. She is currently getting ready to tryout for EWJRA Rodeo Queen next weekend. Ali Jo and Rayann had a great year in the CTJRA they both got 7th place in their allaround standings in their age groups. That is really great considering that none of the girls have really participated in rodeo befor this year. Jordanna started last year in Cow riding and entered it two rodeos with her horse.
This fall I have been sewing up a storm making purses and bags that I have been selling all over and am really enjoying doing this. I have also got back in the saddle and have been doing some riding again after taking most of the summer off to let my knee heal. It is great to be back riding again. I missed my saddle but Jordanna kept it warm for me this summer using it to rope in.LOL ... Anyway I hope that you tun in next time for the adventures of the Wiley Crew. Hi sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. We have started our 2011 season of Jr Rodeo and it has been fun. We went to Tonasket on April 16.
We had Jordanna running Barrels, Polls, Cow Riding, Steer Daubing, Goat Tyeing. She placed 1st on her Cow! Won her first Buckle and Check, it wea exciting! She nocked over the first barrel and had her best poll run ever. Ali Jo ran Polls, Barrels, Dummy Roping, and California Stake Race. She had a good day but didn't place in any of her events. Rayann ran Polls, Barrels, California Stake Race, and Mutton Bustin. She had a hard day, NT on polls and Barrels, did a good stake race, got bucked off her Sheep. Then the following weekend we went to Nespelem Jr Rodeo. Jordanna had an awsome Cow ride 67, she placed 2nd and got a check, Polls nocked over two polls, Barrels she had a good run, Calf Roaping she missed her calf but was close (new event she has never done before), Goat Tyeing was better than the week before, All in all it was a good day for Jordanna. Ali Jo did Polls, she NT broke the pattern, Barrels had a good run just a little slow, Goat Tail Tyeing was slow but good, and I think that is all. Rayann rode her Sheep again and did good, Polls she had a good run, Barrels NT borke the barrier, and got 3rd in the Cal. Stake Race, she got her first pay check for that run! Next up is our family ride this weekend then the Old Timmers Rodeo and Okanogan Jr Rodeo. Happy trails untill then. Well today is the first time that I have ever done a blog so bear with me while I blog away. I gave our web page a new look and some updates I really hope that you like it. AuthorWell, I really don't no what to say. I spend all my time on the ranch working with horses and kids. In my spare time I enjoy sewing and more riding, snomobilling, hunting, and just hanging out with the girls. Please come and see all the great things that we have been doing at The Wiley Ranch.
